Boston — State Representative Jay Livingstone recently received two perfect scores for voting with environmentalists on key pieces of environmental legislation during the 2013-14 legislative session. Rep Livingstone has always been passionate about issues like climate change and energy and his high marks on these two legislative scorecards exemplifies his consistently progressive record. Jay receives a 100% in total for the Mass Audubon scorecard and a 100% on all bills that he voted on while he was a sworn in as State Rep for the Environmental League of Massachusetts Scorecard (Livingstone won in a special election in 2013). These scores have set a strong precedent for the upcoming legislative session, during which Rep. Livingstone sits on the Joint Committee on Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture.
