CBS Boston — Report that Harpoon Brewery is using water from the Charles River to make beer. “The Charles River has never been really known as the cleanest river, but these days, parts of it are good enough to swim in and now there’s a new chapter. The Harpoon Brewery is using water from the river in their new Charles River Pale Ale.” The video includes footage of Rep. Livingstone, Dave Greenwood, Pat McDonough, and Amy Proulx swimming in the Charles earlier this summer during the Charles River Conservancy’s Summer Splash. Watch the story.
